Pheidippides

The Greeks were exhausted as the battle came to the end of the Marathon city the persians sented Pheidippides too go to the Athens.

Over rocky mountains Pheidippides ran from the Marathon to the Athens to send some amazing news but Pheidippides had no food and water. Pheidippides felt so exhausted but he never gave up.

Arriving in Athens Pheidippides shouted  “Joy! We won!” until he clapped  and died.

Ben Johnson

At the start Ben Johnson did not look human and he had big red eyes and had huge muscles to and he was versing carl Lewis.

During the race the 100 metre sprint were staring now it is time for the race and all eyes were on two men Ben Johnson and carl Lewis when Ben Johnson was running he was so phenomenal so they stopped the race because no one could catch up with him and he broke the world record.

When they were doing a test for your urine if your take drugs Ben Johnson raced to the airport then 3 hours later some people came strippet his gold medal and gave it to carl Lewis and lost his world record.

  

Olympics flame

The ancient Greeks started the tradition of having an Olympic flame. In Olympia a sacred flame is lit by the sun's rays and stays alight until the games have ended. The flame symbolized a request for protection from Zeus and the athletes’ struggles for victory.

The modern flame symbolizes the light of the spirit, knowledge and life to this day, the torch is still lit in Olympia in Greece, then carried by a relay team, passing runner to runner, until it reaches the host-city of the games. There, the cauldron will be lit and stay alight until the closing ceremony.

First in the morning me and my group have to see who has the Biggest bag so we can put our launch box in the biggest bag. When we went in the bus we have wait before we get there. When we got there we sat down on the floor and waited for an instructor then he came and said his name was “Jeremy”. Jeremy took me and we to a room and told us “we are going to make a dream bedroom out of shapes and it has to fly’’. When we are finish we have to do our vivid we have to do the outside of the shapes.Then Jeremy said we have to do the some detail with the pencil. It was fun doing art with Jeremy.

How I feel about my artwork or the whole process.	I feel so proud of my artwork because it took me a long time to do my vivid.I also loved my painting because now I am finished.
What did I enjoy most of all or what was the best thing about my painting.	I enjoyed painting because it makes me so excited. I also enjoy talking to my friends because it gets so lonely when we just do our painting.
What did I find hard or I didn’t like.	When miss king said that we have to do our vivid. It was very hard because miss King said we have to make it straight.
How can I do my art better next time?	I have to try my best to keep going. Because I could be better and better so I can be good at doing art.
What was the most interesting thing I did or my friends did.	I loved my friend Mama’s painting because it was so interesting and also it had so much detail. I also loved my other friend Megan’s painting too.
What did I learn most about?	I learned about how to create art by drawing The Eiffel Tower I made some building with some detail like the windows.
